dc.description.abstract The paper examined the factors affecting the growth of social entrepreneurship and sought to the shade light on the importance of social entrepreneurship with a focus on small business enterprises (S.B.T.S) are reputed to play an important economic role in many countries economic growth. Rwigema and Vecto (2004, P.511). Asserts that the concept of social Entrepreneurship involves applying the principles of entrepreneurship to solve social problems SBES Sector in Kenya contributes to over 90% of the jobs created every year but despite insignificance. SBES are unable to support important Social economic goals to their small size, hence small gains realized from this small business. The study employed the use of questionnaires to collect primary data. Through interviews as a research tool since they collected introduction that is not directly observable as they inquire about feelings 0n motivations, attitudes, accomplishments as well as an experience of an individual. For the main purpose of this research, the study collected primary data and compared it with the available secondary data for the literature review. Descriptive statistics were used mainly to summarize the data. This included proceedings and frequency tables and other graphs used as appropriate to present the data collected for wise of understanding and analysis. The study concluded that access to wisdom information services affected the performance of the speeds to a great extent. The study further concludes that access to finance affected the performance of the aspect to air extend that it is limited the entrepreneur ability to take advantage of an opportunity as and when they arose. The study further concluded that technology affected the business to an extent that the facilitating communication with both the suppliers and customers by using transportation of goods and by easing marketing of our products. The study concludes that most of the respondents measured the performance of the business by the number of customers and that Government policy and regulations affect the performance of the business to a very great extent managerial experience affected the performance to SBES to a great extent. en_US
